I’m a true Midwest gal composed of big ideas and an even bigger heart — unafraid to face a challenge but will 100% hold the door open for you from a mile away.

I put my heart into everything I do with the intent to create a better world through meaningful connection, celebration, and belonging. I was ten years old when I wrote my first story because I believed the world deserved more talking dogs. The blank page in front of me was loud with the possibilities to fill it. Today, the magic of storytelling still enchants me. Powdered sugar from the mini donuts I consume, swirl around my fingers like fairy dust as I compose these words you’re reading now. While I try to refrain from striking up conversations with dogs I pass in the park, I still believe in the magic our stories hold — the good, the bad, and the everyday. Sometimes, there are unexpected plot twists and characters we encounter. We reach the end of a sentence and are often left hanging or yearning for more. Stories come to an end, but we as the author, get to choose where we begin. Maybe it’s right now at your desk, drinking your coffee — staring at a blank screen full of possiblities. We all have a story, let’s make it a good one!
